Nebraska Medicaid HCBS Waiver
Every service we provide is grounded in person-centered values — meaning your goals, preferences, and definition of independence guide everything we do. As a licensed Nebraska Medicaid HCBS Waiver provider, we offer a full continuum of home and community-based services for individuals with disabilities and seniors.
In-home support for individuals with disabilities who live with their families. Supported Family Living provides training, respite, and assistance to help families sustain their caregiving role while promoting the individual's growth and independence.
Support for individuals to participate fully in their communities — attending events, building relationships, accessing recreation, and living life on their own terms. We believe community belonging is essential to well-being.
A home-based living arrangement where an individual with a disability lives with a trained host family or provider who offers support, companionship, and assistance with daily living. Shared Living fosters a sense of belonging and stability in a family-like environment.
Hands-on assistance with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Our personal care aides work with each individual to provide dignified, respectful support that preserves independence and promotes well-being.
Temporary relief for family caregivers who need a break. Respite care ensures your loved one receives quality, consistent support while you rest, attend appointments, or simply recharge. Available in-home or at a licensed respite facility.
Structured daytime programs in a safe, welcoming community setting. Adult day services provide social engagement, health monitoring, therapeutic activities, and skill-building for adults with disabilities and seniors.
Individualized job coaching, workplace support, and employment planning for people with disabilities who want to work. We partner with local employers and help individuals find, secure, and maintain meaningful, competitive employment.
And more services available — contact us to learn about additional waiver services we provide.
Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Waivers allow Nebraska Medicaid to fund services that help people with disabilities and seniors remain in their homes and communities rather than receiving care in institutions. Mercy Homecare is a licensed provider under Nebraska's HCBS Waiver programs.
